What we collect
We do not run analytics, advertising or tracking on this website. We only receive personal data when you choose to send it, for example when you email us or sign up to the newsletter (your email address).
Why and on what basis
We use your email address only to reply to you or, with your consent, to send the newsletter (UK GDPR Article 6(1)(a) consent and 6(1)(f) legitimate interests for replying to correspondence). We never sell or share it for marketing.
How long we keep it
Correspondence is kept for as long as needed to deal with it, normally no more than two years. Newsletter addresses are kept until you unsubscribe.
Cookies
This site sets no tracking or advertising cookies, so there is no cookie banner. Videos load from YouTube’s privacy-enhanced domain (youtube-nocookie.com) only after you press play; YouTube may then store data under its own privacy policy. Fonts are served by Google Fonts, which receives your IP address to deliver them. Our host, Cloudflare, may process technical data (such as IP addresses) to keep the site secure.
Purchases
The magazine is sold through Magzter. Payments and accounts there are governed by Magzter’s own privacy policy.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you have the right to access, correct, delete or restrict the use of your data, to object, to data portability and to withdraw consent at any time. Email us to exercise them. You may also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk).
